Wearing a special interactive costume, Paul Granjon delivers his most recent performance work focusing on the latest developments of military robotics. However, during the course of the presentation a mysterious electronic black box sends radio-wave commands to the costume, interrupting the smooth flow of his delivery. He has to complete a mission for the black box before resuming his human activities.
Black Box Ni is Paul Granjon’s latest reflection on the co-evolution of humans and machines. The performance tackles issues of technological dependence, human adaptation and communication with machines and features a unique mix of funny robots, painful weaponry, sad songs and a happy ending.
"Whether watching Paul Granjon perform with his cast of crazy robots or entering the strange world of his gallery installations you know you’re in for a treat." Western Mail
